What is to be a Public Mediator at the Sofia isolator for stray dogs, you can easily understand on theory. For this purpose we have published this:HERE Behind the theory, there are actual people there, flesh and blood, and emotions! These people are not just mediators between the citizens and the state. To be a Mediator means also to be the life witness of the sad faith of the homeless animals. There are 300 dogs being euthanized every week solely at the isolator in Sofia. The total number of killed animals for the country is countless. The Public Mediator is at the isolator to secure and ensure us that the death of the dogs is at least painless, under anesthesia and by a vet, which was not the case 4 years ago, when the first Mediator stepped in. A small piece of happiness for being a Mediator are the moments he/she finds a new owner for a dog from the isolator and saves at least one life!
