Helping the Animals – this is IWNS fundraising campaign for fund to pay homeless animals in special need,  such as surgical operation or vaccines.

Would you like to help us?: 1.Come to the South Park in Sofia

The society is opening an information desk with working times every weekend (from) 10.00 am – 12.00 pm., and 5 pm - 7 pm. The location is in The South Park, after you pass the fountain next to the park‘s entrance overlooking blvd. Vitosha. With the motto ‘Helping the Animals’ the ‘Intimate with nature’ society urges the citizens of Sofia to be active in helping homeless animals in trouble and to be more responsible with their pets. Volunteers dressed in cat and dog costumes will be giving the children in the park balloons and presents. They will also be talking with the parents about the good practices of taking care of their children’s pets, and additionally will be distributing leaflets and stickers on how to raise a dog, a cat, a turtle, a parrot, and even a green iguana. The campaign will be raising funds for homeless animals in need of treatment or even operation. For a modest donation of 1, 2 or 5 levs, the donor will receive a sticker of the campaign, a balloon or another small present. Information about the raised funds will be published on this site. In addition to the informational leaflets Djaff the dog and Murr the cat will urge citizens to add their names to the list of temporary care-takers of homeless animals that have been treated until their recovery and finding of a new home.
