The ceremony was attended by the authors Aksinia Marinova, Jordan Damjanov, Milen Borisov, Veronika Stoykova and Valentin Hristov, their friends, supporters and volunteers of IWNS. Most of the authors shared that they do participate traditionally in the contest.
Each of the authors received a diploma, a booklet with useful recipes Health is delicious, issued by IWNS, and a souvenir. In the cozy atmosphere of the café, everyone was able to share the history of the picture taken, and to tell about his/her interest in animals. In relation to the World Animal Day, we talked about specific issues in Bulgaria (stray animals, animals used for experimental purposes, violence against animals), about different campaigns of IWNS related to the use of free range eggs, the assistance to injured, homeless animals,etc.
The photos will be included in the IWNS calendar for 2011 which will be printed in November and will be presented to your attention.
The photos that won are to be seen in the cafe-bar "The Egg bar", Lom 1 Street (behind the Ministry of Health, Square St. Nedelya 4) and will remain there until 10/15/2010. Most of the photos are already booked, but there are still some available, which can be bought for 20 leva, to cover the costs of printing and laminating.
Few treats, pleasant conversation and quiet exhibition of the best photos of "We look alike." What brought us together is our curiosity, respect for animals, and the beauty of captured moments. Thank you Ina for this wonderful experience.
